Nine coves,
nine different days.

Each of Çeşme's beaches is a cove with its own character, all within easy reach. From a public beach you can walk to, to busy, lively shores, from peaceful family coves to windswept stretches loved by surfers and thermal Blue-Flag beaches — pick the one that matches your mood for the day.

Tekke Beach

The closest beach to the centre of Çeşme, and the only one you can reach from the hotel without a car. Walk past the marina and follow the shore, and about ten minutes from the main square you arrive at a small cove. It takes its name from the Ottoman lodge — tekke — just above it, whose remains can still be made out.

Being small and sheltered, the sea here is calm, clear and shallow — an easy choice for families with children. The shore starts rocky and turns to soft sand further along, with the island of Chios stretching out opposite. Run by the municipality, entry is free and sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired for a small fee. The one price of being this close to the centre is the crowd — in midsummer, early morning or late afternoon is far more pleasant.

Boyalık Bay

A broad shoreline running roughly four kilometres from central Çeşme towards Ilıca — one of the closest beaches to the centre. The water is shallow and calm and the bottom shifts between sand and shingle; along a stretch this long, finding a spot of your own is easy.

A short drive or minibus ride from the hotel. Along the shore there are free public stretches maintained by the municipality as well as venues offering sunbeds and service. Early morning and late afternoon thin the crowd considerably — the best hours for a walk along the water, too.

03 · Ilıca

Ilıca Beach

Ilıca Beach stands out among Türkiye's Blue-Flag beaches. The water warms up here earliest — the season opens in late spring. The wide white-sand shoreline, with a shallow sea stretching far out, is especially comforting for families with children.

In high season, weekdays are more pleasant — weekends can be busy due to the proximity of İzmir. At the northern tip of the beach, Yıldız Burnu is known for warm thermal water rising up through the sea; a spot well worth a visit.

04 · Altın

Altın Kum

About 10 km from Çeşme centre, this cove evokes the Maldives with its near-white sand and crystal-clear sea. The water is cooler than at other Aegean beaches; it warms back to comfortable temperatures from late August through late October.

Along the shore there are beach clubs to suit different budgets, alongside local cafés. For those who'd rather skip the beach-club experience, the local cafés offer affordable sun-bed prices and modest menus.

05 · Dalyan

Dalyan Kocakarı Beach

In Dalyan, one of Çeşme's lesser-known but carefully chosen coves. The water is very clear and restful; in May and June it stands out for its calm. With small kiosks along the shore, this is a quiet, peaceful day away from the crowds.

06 · Alaçatı

Alaçatı

About 3 km from Çeşme centre; the beaches of this town — famous for its stone houses and boutique shops — span a wide spectrum, from quiet coves to lively beach clubs. Alongside venues with high-quality service and Latin music throughout the day, there are calmer, family-oriented spots too.

As the day cools off, the beach takes on a different rhythm — some beach clubs transform into evening venues with live concerts and DJ sets. For dinner, walk into town: the cobbled streets are lined with meyhanes, Aegean restaurants and boutique cafés to suit every mood.

07 · Ayayorgi

Ayayorgi Cove

About 1 km from Çeşme centre, this cove is striking for its natural setting and clear water. It is roughly a 25-minute walk from the hotel, or a few minutes by car. It's known for beach clubs that serve the beach by day and turn into nightclubs by evening. Among the different segments — venues offering all-inclusive consumption with an entry fee, others focused on service, and more affordable spots — you can choose to suit your budget and how you'd like to spend the day.

08 · Paşa

Paşa Limanı

A less-publicised cove, with calm, clean water. Alongside the Blue-Flag beach are Çeşme's well-known thermal pools — water with more than 50 minerals, near 38 °C, flowing into the sea, offering a different experience at every hour of the day.

In the evenings the beach takes on a party atmosphere; freshly squeezed fruit cocktails are this cove's signature.

09 · Pırlanta

Pırlanta Beach

On Çeşme's western side, in Çiftlikköy, Pırlanta is known for its constant strong winds and waves. As a protected SIT area, its nature has stayed intact. It takes its name from the white sand that glints in the light; the sea is shallow for 250 m and rests on a soft sand floor.

Thanks to steady, strong winds, it stands out as a world-class windsurfing and kitesurfing centre, with internationally certified schools located here. Active sports lovers will find camping and caravan facilities, and visitors will find café areas and sunbathing zones.
